A Car Kit Review from Hugh Gilmartin

This is a short review of the Revell/Monogram Ferrari Testarossa car kit I built some time back, I wrote the review on paper before but with MosquitoCon upon us ,I did not get to submit this before so here goes.

The kit is 120 parts in red and silver chrome with about 10 clear parts, no flash or ejector pin marks or other apparent defects in kit parts. The instructions are another matter, THEY ARE BAD, I have done Revell/Monogram kits since this project and they are much better than this kit, so I hope that this is just a onetime- bad run. The main problem with the instructions is that they are hard to follow as one tries to put the parts together, very poor diagrams without indication of the assembly order of parts is the main problem with the kit. all other problems with the kit stem from this poor instruction sheet.

I must emphasize the fact that I have had great success with Revell/Monogram kits since this project, so I repeat the parts quality and decal quality is good, instructions are poor and thus I must rate this kit and only this kit for experts only.
