USS Intrepid returns to Manhattan's West Side
On Thursday, October 2, 2008, the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) was towed from her temporary berth in Staten Island, New York, back to her newly rebuilt and refurbished home on the West Side of Manhattan.   NJ/IPMS member Devin Poore took these photos from Hoboken, on the New Jersey side of the river.
