| Even though there was no free food, drink or any other giveaways, there was still a nice turnout for the May meeting. The theme contest for the night was "Gloss Finish Night", won by Bill Connolly in Air and Dave Schwartz in Land/Sea. | |||

| A few items covered
at the meeting: planning for MosquitoCon XX (that's 20 for those of
you who don't know their Roman numerals) continues. The club will be
getting shirts for the event - this time they'll be collared polo shirts.
We are also to do an off-site picnic in lieu of the traditional September
BBQ, probably at Roosevelt Park in Edison, which is centrally located for
all club members. Details to follow.
Congrats to all the club members who took home the hardware at the recent Region 1 NoreastCon show in Farmingdale, Long Island. Among the winners were Dan Spera, Mike Terre, Rogerio "Rato" Marczak, Ernst Connor and Martin Quinn. For those of you who might of missed it, the clubs newsletter, under former editor Tom Vandermark, won the IPMS Region II "Newsletter of the Year" award. The award will be presented at the Region II show in Fredericksburg, Virginia this October, the same weekend we held JerseyCon last year (October 15/16). If you can, please try an attend this show, and reciprocate the support we received last year. Stayed tuned for some "incentives" coming from Big Bill regarding this show as well! |
