It was a fairly quiet November meeting, as
everyone recovered from JerseyCon just a few weeks earlier.
While some outstanding money is still being reconciled, it appears that we made
a small profit, which is considered good for a Regional show (most clubs
break even at best). All in all, it was a successful show and
just about all the feedback I saw on the 'net or heard via word of mouth
was very positive. It was also a good learning experience, so if and
when we do it again (2011, anyone?) we'd do a few things differently. December will be the annual "Model of the Year" contest, so bring those 1st place winners from 2009 to the meeting (see the Newsletter for a listing). The award for "Modeler of the Year" will also be avoided, so make sure you are there - it could be you! Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays! |
