| Hard to believe another September has come
and gone, but it's true. If it's September, that means food, and
lots of it! With the annual BBQ now the annual food festival (at the
request of the Garwood Fire Department), there was a large turnout as all
the undernourished modelers came to the IPMS Soup line, looking for a hot
meal. Okay, so there are no undernourished modelers in the
club - what's your point? A good time was had by all, munch down
ribs, chicken, brats and other assorted goodies, all coordinated by
Presidente Big Bill. Other than greasy hands and clean models, the big
topic of conversation was the impending JerseyCon show, which is RIGHT
around the corner. Thanks to all the members who stepped
forward to get in their registrations, buy trophy packages and put their
names down on the assignment sheet - this show won't go anywhere with 100%
participation from the membership! |
