Tick...tick...tick. MosquitoCon is coming...and it's getting closer
everyday. While your web editor was suffering through a PTO
fundraiser and unable to make it to the meeting, everyone else was talking
about MosquitoCon. Less than two months to go until the big
date on April 5th. Don't forget this years theme is 1943 - Prelude
to Victory. Lots of stuff happened in 1943, from Kursk to
Tarawa to the Air War over Western Europe, while the Essex class carriers
started to join the fleet. That's a lot of modeling choices! In other news, the March meeting HAS BEEN MOVED. The new date is Friday, March 7th. That's one week EARLIER than normal. Being that I wasn't there, I'm sure there is a conflict with a St. Patrick's Day party. Speaking of meeting dates being moved, the August meeting date will also be moved back one week, as the meeting falls on the same weekend as the IPMS/USA National Convention in Virginia Beach. With many NJ/IPMS members expected to attend the Nationals, why pay for the hall when no one will be there? Don't forget next month's themed contest - Empire Night. If it has anything to do with the British Empire, it's open for some super neat prizes! (Did I just say 'super neat'?).
